On this evening, our group split up in two - after eating at Fratelli Fresh, we were glad we split up for dinner!! The pasta and pizzas here were so fresh! I think our favorites were the focaccia bread and the Tartufo black truffle pizza with egg. Just WOW! If I were visiting Sydney again I would definitely come back here for those dishes!! This restaurant was so popular - we walked in at 6:00pm and they told us they wouldn't have any open tables until 7:30pm! All we could do was walk around the area - thankfully it was a short walk to the pier and there was a beautiful view of the Sydney Harbor Bridge from there. We were so hungry and really starving by the time we were seated, and you would think that's why we're saying everything was so delicious, but Annie knows her Italian food so I trust the food is legitimately good if she says so. Not to mention, our waitress, an older lady, was so sweet and patient with us. She had a minor accent and because the atmosphere was loud and buzzing in the restaurant, she had trouble hearing/understanding our questions. We had a lot of questions about vegetarian options, what she recommended, what could be made vegetarian, etc. She was so patient we ended up tipping her even though tipping is not customary in Australia. It was just our small token of appreciation but she was still very grateful.
OMG now I can't stop thinking about the Tartufo black truffle... T___T. Take me back!!!
