This was our first meal in Sydney! We has just arrived, checked into our Airbnb near Hyde Park, and walked to this industrial-chic cafe. It highlights South American food like baked eggs and fried chicken, but surprisingly had several delicious dishes for the vegetarians in our group!
One of our favorites (for veggie AND meat-eaters in our group) was the Ancho Poached Pear with nuts and yogurt. The pear was so soft, and the yogurt, pineapple, and almonds made the mix a very tasty breakfast. Another creative dish was the Horchata porridge with dried apple crisps and sesame snaps, which added a sweet flavor to it all. We also ordered some savory food like the Baleada which is a Honduran tortilla with pinto beans, salsa, and eggs.
We were very satisfied and ready to explore ALL of Sydney when we finished eating!
To the start of our trip!!
